Binary Logic ABEE (Binary Logic) is part of the MM Educational Group which includes MM Publications SA, Vector Math & Science, Combobooks SA and Argus Logistics. This privacy policy explains how our organisation uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website, our online platforms and applications.

What data do we collect?

Binary Logic collects the following data:

  • Binarylogic.net website - Personal contact details (Name, email address, school name, city, country) only if you choose to contact us through the Contact Form.
  • Eltskills.com, Beltstudysystem.com, Binary-academy.com and regional clones of the platforms - Personal identification information (Name, email address, school name, school address) if you work as a supervisor or teacher in a school that operates our educational platform. For students, we only store their name and class (for the students to be identifiable by their teacher) and their grades.
  • Marketing and training events (online and in-person) - Personal contact details (Name, email address, phone number, address, school name)

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Binary Logic with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online, activate teacher and student accounts or place an order for any of our products or services.
  • Apply for a school account on our educational platforms.
  • Entering any kind information while using our applications or online services.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Participate in our in-person seminars or online webinars and provide your details for follow up.
  • Request sample educational material for evaluation via phone, email, social media, in-person or online events.
  • Use or view our websites via your browser’s cookies.

What about kids? Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Naturally, the privacy and safety of children are essential to us. Children should always ask parents for permission before sending personal information to any website or online service. Binary Logic securely stores your data at their on-premises (Athens, Greece) and cloud servers behind secured networks. Your personal information is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

Binary Logic will keep teachers’ and students’ data for the time period required by the school that works with our educational platforms. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data from our databases. We may keep anonymised data for development and testing purposes.
